Group acupuncture can be a great way to access this ancient healing discipline at an affordable price. In Chinese tradition, acupuncture is often performed in a communal setting. In fact, receiving treatment as part of a group is thought to create a special synergy that increases healing.
In group acupuncture, several people at a time -- family members, co-workers, friends, or total strangers – receive individual treatments while relaxing in a comfortable zero gravity chair or on a massage table. Since you will be treated with points on the arms and legs and/or on the head and neck, you can remain fully dressed. Please wear loose clothing and remove shoes, socks, and stockings for your treatment.
Please note that this is a ‘first aid’ acupuncture clinic, so I cannot treat multiple complaints or complicated issues in the group. You will not receive nutritional, exercise, herbal
or supplement recommendations, dietary advice, relaxation techniques, acupressure training,
postural adjustments, or exercise instructions in the walk in clinic. Please schedule a private session if you desire a more comprehensive treatment plan.
For chronic problems, 2 sessions a week for up to 6 weeks may be needed. For acute conditions, you may only need 4-6 visits. Treatments are available any time during the group clinic without an appointment, though you may have to wait a bit if it’s busy.
Help us by spreading the word about this exciting way to help your mind and body achieve balance and maintain wellness!
